Enjoying Kailua Beach and Town at Hale Manu Vacation Rental

Idyllic and Affordable Hawaii Vacation Awaits You in Beautiful Kailua

Looking to stay on the ocean in Kailua and not break the bank?  Search no further, Hale Manu is it! This is definitely the best value cottage on the beach in Kailua.

My Mother and I spent an unforgettable week here over Mother’s Day. The layout of this house is very well thought out. The architecture is classic Hawaiian style, open and airy with a focus on bringing the soothing trade winds into the house.

Best Snorkeling On Maui

Honolua Bay on Maui

Everyone is always asking where to snorkel on Maui. Here is my answer:

Honolua Bay Marine Sanctuary in West Maui is an absolute must for divers and snorkelers. You can drive to the Bay, or better yet you can take an amazing snorkeling excursion on the the Hula Girl – a 65ft. Sailing Catamaran.

The Hula Girl departs from Kaanapali Beach, in front of the Hula Grill at Whalers Village. Not only is this the most impressive catamaran I have ever seen or been on, the services are outstanding!

Best Oahu North Shore Snorkeling – Shark’s Cove

Snorkeling on Oahu’s North Shore – An Abundance of Fish and other Marine Life!

I have often been asked by visitors staying on the North shore of Oahu: Where is the best snorkeling?

Sharks Cove is about a five minute drive from Sunset Beach and is one of the north shore’s finest snorkeling and scuba diving locations. With an extensive coral reef, Shark’s Cove exhibits a variety of marine life in its natural environment.

The reef at Shark’s Cove can only be accessed during calm seas which typically occur during the summer months. Turtles are frequently seen in the cove, and there is also a wonderful beach for swimmers.
