Turtle Bay is in the North Shore area so you’ll also find plenty of golf items and surf gear. Art galleries form a pleasant trail so meander in Haleiwa one lazy afternoon to take it all in, including the world renown Wyland Galleries of Hawaii, particularly known for ocean art. While it’s more eating than shopping, take a break and stop at Waialua Bakery when you’re in Haleiwa. You’ll also find island apparel and surf wear in town.
Kahuku Art Gallery carries items from several local artists, including paintings, wood carvings and handcrafted jewelry. A fun shopping experience, and dining too, and a wonderful opportunity to interact with local residents, the Haleiwa Farmers’ Market and North Shore Country Market are both worth an afternoon. Artisan foods, gourmet delights, exotic fruits, fresh seafood, plentiful produce and numerous handcrafted items fill stall after stall and warrant a stroll.
