Maui, locally known as the Valley Isle, is one of the most popular islands in the world and is continually rated as No. 1 for its gorgeous beaches by several big name companies. However, beaches are not the only thing drawing thousands of tourists to Maui each year. Numerous activities stretch across the island ranging from relaxed sunbathing to adventurous mountain biking. Home to world-class dining, championship golf courses, artisan shopping, world-renowned beaches, frequent whale sightings, and some of the most breathtaking views, Maui has something for every taste and personality. Each region of Maui offers something different, depending on which type of experience you would like to have. Western Maui offers luxury resorts and tourist activities while the Eastern side provides visitors with a more secluded and natural Hawaiian escape. Explore the volcano of Haleakala and watch the sunrise from its summit, or visit the Painted Forest in Hana to view the rainbow eucalyptus trees. With so many activities to choose from, we have complied the three “must do” activities while visiting Maui:

  • The Road to Hana: this stretch of highway runs over 100 miles and provides guests with the most unimaginable and natural views of Maui, offering great hikes and access to the 7 Sacred Pools on the way.
  • Snorkel the Molokini Crater: this crater sits just off the coast near Wailuku and allows visitors to view the 300 ft deep crater, teeming with marine life in the azure blue waters.
  • Haleakala National Park: just 12 minutes from Hana, this national park is home to the iconic Bamboo Forest, 7 Sacred Pools, Waimoku Falls, and much more!
