5. Other Considerations for the Big Day
Check with the State Health Department about the legal requirements of Hawaii regarding obtaining a marriage license. The Honolulu Marriage License Office is open during normal business hours. Also don’t forget to book a salon appointment well in advance of the wedding date. Some stylists will come to your hotel room which can make things easier.
Be aware that the windward sides of the islands can be quite windy, so if you are planning an outdoor wedding in these areas then plan your ceremony (and your hairstyle) accordingly. Also when you show up for your wedding don’t forget to bring money for the minister, the wedding rings, and your license.
