Volcano Golf and Country Club in Waikoloa is an exciting distance, just one mile from Kilauea Volcano and Halemaumau Crater, for which the rugged landscape is enough of an indication of degree of difficulty. The course is the oldest on Big Island and is at an elevation of 4,200 feet. Snowcapped in winter, Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea dot the distance. The most difficult hole is #15, with a 425-yard par 4.
