The wildly adventurous course is 200 acres of a 1,500 acre jungle on the windward side of of the 2,000-foot Ko’olau Ridge mountain range. Koolau Golf Course is a par 72 and the course record is 67 and its scope ranges through three distinct climate zones.

Luana Hills Country Club is another challenging Oahu golf course in Maunawili Valley in Kailua. The welcome task of playing an arduous round is an adventure, from rainforest to the railroad ties on this par 72 course.

Volcano Golf and Country Club in Waikoloa is an exciting distance, just one mile from Kilauea Volcano and Halemaumau Crater, for which the rugged landscape is enough of an indication of degree of difficulty.
