Island Adventure Travel Suggestions

Aloha! Hopefully, if you are reading this, you are preparing yourself for a Hawaiian travel adventure. There is not a person in the world that would regret coming to experience some of the most fabulous and exquisite islands in the world.

Oahu is a great jumping off point. As I mentioned before, you'll never lack things to do. Some of the must-sees include Waikiki beach, the view from Diamond Head, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the bishop museum. Of course there is surfing, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, and much, much more. If you are into health and natural remedies, or even tradition and culture you might want to check out Noni farms. Though Noni can be found on Kauai, there is a Noni farm on Oahu where the processing takes place. There is also one on the big island, and the farms are also found in Tahiti. Noni is a fruit bearing plant that is used for a variety of purposes both today and in the ancient Polynesian past. Noni Benefits include being a great source a Vitamin C, and is said to be helpful with issues of digestion, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes. Currently, studies are being conducted to test claims that it can help cancer by attacking abnormal cells. Traditionally, all parts of the plant get used.

In Kauai, you'll be able to take advantage of the Holoholo cruises ("Let's go" cruises). The cruise will take you along the Niihau coast, which is located on the northwest part of the island. As you skim the crystal waters of the Pacific, you'll then be taken to what is called a "forbidden island". What makes this cruise so special? Along the way you will have the chance to see seals, dolphins, and even whales among other things.

Did you know you can procure an outer-island day tour or day trip from any of the magical Hawaiian Islands? Each island has its own unique and breathtaking beauty and activities. On Molokai you could check out a coffee plantation and get a swig of some of the most exclusive coffee in the world, or head out into the ocean for some pretty amazing sport-fishing. Lanai boasts an impressive surfing school and art center. A bird's eye view of the island can be accomplished with one of its helicopter tours. Maui offers cultural insights through its museums and activities, and the Big Island offers fantastic and highly recommended aquatic activities. How does kayaking, snorkeling or an underwater tour by submarine sound for your next Hawaii vacation?

Wherever you begin you island adventure, and no mater which islands you choose, you'll be glad to know that whatever you find, it will certainly not be a disappointment in Hawaii.
