Vacation review for Pua O Lanikai in Lanikai, Oahu:
We loved our stay at Pua O Lanikai, extending another 3 days whilst there to enjoy it further. It definitely has the best location on Lanikai beach front that provides a good amount of sand and privacy (the majority of the tourists staying in other areas who visit Lanikai beach stop a few houses short of Pua O Lanikai). Pool is great, sunrise views incredible and the house is well set out. Very relaxing to sit out any time of the day to watch the views. Only small negatives are the main bedroom bed which is uncomfortably soft & squeaky - but others to choose from if you don't have a full house. ("Manager Note: beds and bedding are regularly upgraded.") Also, owners not as generous as some others are, as they do not allow use of their kayak - ("Manager Note: Kayak's are not for use do to liability reasons. Guided tours and kayak rental with kayaking instuctors is readily available near by and is the best way to ensure safety in our waters.") but you can rent one & have it delivered & picked up from the house pretty cheaply. Highly recommend you go to Rays Restaurant (about 20 mins drive on the 72 towards Honululu) - fantastic food, views & service & Lucy's in Lanikai.
