Vacation review for Kauhale Makai-Village By the Sea in Kihei, Maui:
I liked - The layout and the funshings, comfortable and air conditioned for the few times it was needed
customer service - very good, very helpful and polite and when I would call, they were always upbeat and wanted me to be happy
Beat part of the trip Shopping in old Lahina town
No restaurants - brought our own food
Best picture - flowers
telling friends - weather, sunsets, and beaches
Enjoy and leave more consumables than you use (bags, foil, etc)
Best tip - Bring your own precooked food frozen in a cooler. We did and only spent 100.00 dining out. Of course you would have to get consumables that don't travel well locally (8.00 a gallon milk, 3.00 eggs, etc.)
Didn't have time - should have made time to snorkel north of Lahina, beautiful

Assigned parking and we had cars that didn't move on both sides of our spot
Fisrt floor residents have 0 privacy on they Lanai and have to look at parked cars
Garbage disposal not funtional
